:: Swizz Beatz is still glowing following his July 31 wedding to singer Alicia Keys. “Everything was just wow, it was a blessing,” Swizz said in a new interview with Access Hollywood’s Maria Menounos. “It was positive energy, and we’re still in those moments.” Swizz, whose real name is Kaseem Dean, said his Grammy-winning wife calls him “Baba,” instead of his footwear-inspired industry nickname. “I used to wear K-Swiss sneakers back in the day, and I couldn’t get rid of the name,” he explained. “I had every color.” The former DJ, whose work has been heard on over 270 million albums sold, said working with his superstar wife comes naturally. “Anybody that’s brilliant can just connect to another mind,” he said of their collaborations in the studio. “Our chemistry is just a simple flow.”

:: As the sun set over the clear-blue Mediterranean Sea on July 31st, singer Alicia Keys and her fiancé, music producer Swizz Beatz, exchanged vows in front of family and close friends, including Queen Latifah, Tommy Hilfiger, Christian Louboutin and Bono. The private event was held at a seafront estate on the southern coast of the French island of Corsica, where the mind-body sage Deepak Chopra, the couple's pal, officiated the intimate service. Swizz's oldest son, 9-year-old Prince Nasir Dean - served as best man to his dad. "The whole ceremony was magical, like something out of a dream," an eyewitness tells Life & Style. The beaming bride wore a custom-made, Grecian inspired one-shouldered silk Vera Wang gown with crystal detailing, a dazzling diamond necklace headband, custom made by Jacob the Jeweler, and jewel-encrusted Christian Louboutin sandals accented her feet. Swizz, whose given name is Kasseem Dean, sported a white Tom Ford tuxedo with a black bow tie. The pair, who are expecting a child in early November, were overcome with joy. "I love everything about her," Swizz tells Life & Style about his new wife. :: Alicia Keys has tied the knot with her rap producer boyfriend on the Mediterranean Sea. The singer, who is due to give birth in November, walked down the aisle yesterday in front of her friends and family. They partied on a huge boat in Sardinia, and had the official ceremony on land, at an estate in the mountainside of nearby Corsica. The bride wore a Grecian-inspired Vera Wang dress and carried a bouquet of purple calla lilies. The groom was decked out in a Tom Ford tuxedo and the footwear was all Louboutin. The couple's friend Dr. Deepak Chopra presided over the nuptials. Obviously because they aren't Italian citizens, they got officially hitched in the Tri-State area before leaving for Europe. Meanwhile Swizz celebrated with not one but two bachelor parties, one in New York and one on Friday at Sardinia's legendary Billionaire Club. Click here to check out some pics. Congrats to both of them! <3

:: The New York Post wrote a story last week which claimed that Alicia Keys had been ripped off by her manager of 15 years, Jeff Robinson. The paper's sources claimed that Robinsojn had been taking 25% commission and above 33% during the early stages of her career, when the norm is between 15 - 20%. The source said: “Swizz Beatz definitely played a huge part in killing him off. She got smart after years of people around her telling her she was crazy to let this continue to happen.” But apparently Keys's reps have said that the story has no truth in it. They said: “That story is 100% false. Jeff Robinson was like a father figure to Alicia Keys. They never had a contract. It was a huge deal because Jeff loves her like she was his own kid! This whole article reeks of damage control and its obvious. How can you rip someone off when you don’t have a contract and they can walk away whenever they want?” Her fiance, producer Swizz Beatz, has also been blamed for the end of Robinson's relationship with Keys and has now assumed the role of her manager. But Swizz Beatz has denied this and said that the rumours are "not true". Beatz said: “I don’t have time to fire anybody. I’m super busy working on a million things. People must accept change and move on.”

:: t’s midnight and there’s a bank of paparazzi in front of me surrounding Alicia Keys’ trailer like big buzzing flies. They jostle and push; they feel very threatening. I’ve been waiting to interview her since 4.30pm. Now, eventually, I’m inside the trailer. It’s a symphony of fawn and beige leatherette; dark and dank with chunks of newly cut hair from Keys’ hairpiece on the floor. Keys and her hairstylist, assistant and several other hangers-on are holed up inside. She says, 'It’s like being in jail in here.’ The first time I interviewed her I just turned up at the appointed time. This time I’m aware there is an Alicia Keys PR machine – the entourage, the minders – a machine that’s rolling and controlling. I wonder what it’s like to be inside this? 'I don’t really have a gauge on it in the sense that I don’t know how it appears to other people. I don’t think I’m like that. I’m actually hell-bent on normalcy to the extent where people are like, “Alicia, you are delusional.” Read the full interview here.
