:: Alicia might be new coach on Voices of America tv show. John de Mol (the man behind 'Idols' and the new 'The voice of ...' franchise) just said in an interview that they were trying to get Alicia Keys as a coach for the American version. When asked by the production team "How far should we go to get Alicia Keys on board", he said: "Very far". One of the important premises of the show is the quality of the singing talent. Four coaches, themselves popular performing artists, train the talents in their group and occasionally perform with them. Talents are selected in blind auditions, where the coaches cannot see, but only hear the auditioner. At this point it is still work in progress, nothing officially confirmed. The Voice of America starts in May 2011 on NBC. Click here for auditions info. Thx to Marc for heads up! :)
